Once all the animals got off the ark they would eat each other since they were the only meat. Whatever was left would be eaten by Noah and his family. The whole story is illogical.

You need to do some research. While some plants may not survive a flood, their seeds usually do. Otherwise after any local flood there'd never be any more plants in the area.
The same thing happens in a forest fire. Seeds are designed to survive such events and they grow after the fire.
