I'm not happy...it's one thing after another and when I think everything has settled down then another disaster strikes.
I'm very good at faking it though...for the sake of my family.

I consider happiness and joy to be different. I'm happy now. The kids are getting along. It's been a while since anybody died. Our health is good. The bills are paid.
I think no matter what, though, I'm joyful. The bad we go through is fleeting. The kids fight, brothers die, money is tight... But through it all we can be joyful knowing that there is something bigger and that we are always loved.
Simply, I am always content, full of joy, and generally I am happy.
How about you?

Define happiness.
If it's in love, I'm the happiest person ever!
If it's in money, I'm ok!
If it's in self-satisfation, I'm never happy until I die.
If it's in sleeping well, I'm never happy until every hungry kid in the world dies every second of pain, lives a huminal life.
If it's in pride, I'm so unhappy, for the world I belong to, and the sorrow I share by silence.
If it's in all that, u can say I'm happy for being so lucky, setting to my pc, replying u! and having the probability of living another day, where I always can make myself happier somehow! Othres are not so lucky as I am!

I love to be happy. But that's not always possible. Happiness is affected by circumstances. What I really want is joy, which I have. Joy is not circumstantial. Joy comes by faith in Christ. Joy is truly a much deeper feeling than happiness, from my experience.

My job makes my life miserable.
I feel like they have me by the nuts and don't listen to a word that comes out of my mouth.
I feel hopeless in my career.
Funny I found this question because today has sucked big time.

Yes, I'm TOTALLY HAPPY! I'm retired, am married to the 'best man in the world for me' and am 'totally spoiled' by him ... and 'answering questions on Y!A is lots of fun, and may help some people ...
