you really should google this to get a better answer but, epilepsy is kind of like a short circut in the brain. many people live completely normal lives with medication. my doc thought i had it at 13 yrs b/c i had such severe headaches and put me on dilantin. turns out i was okay. your doc has already said the test came out fine. i'm guessing they did an eeg and brain scan on your daughter but, if you are still very concerned about her shaking, and don't want to give her ant meds just yet, i suggest having her looked at by a pediatric neurologist. check with the nearest childrens hospital to find one.

yes, I think you need a second opinion, before you put your child on a med, that may do more harm then good. Observe what is happening just before she starts shaking, What was she doing or eating. Was she in front of a TV, fast moving things can bring on an epilepsy problems . If she does have it.

Take her to a pediatric neurologist. And yes get a second opinion. While her fits are scary, medicating her without having proof of the cause can be worse.
