Does your faith ever falter? Do you ever NOT believe in your God? Why and how does this happen? And what helps you when you go through this experience?

I always believe in God. But I have had moments of weakness like everyone. And sometimes it feels if I am hanging by a thin thread, But God did not change I did. I stopped looking toward Jesus, instead i look around me or at myself instead of to God. Like peter walking on water. As long as His focus was on Christ he was able to walk on the water but when the waves came they scared him, and he took his eyes off of Jesus. When storms in our life comes we need to keep our eyes on Jesus. When he takes us by the hand and lifts us up we realize he was ther all the time, just waiting for us to call.

If you are human and you believe in God this will happen to you at some point in your life. It is a test of your faith. You lose your way and you will need to find your way back. When it happens just take time to your self and ask for help from family or church. Read your bible and try to pray. This sounds simple but when you are having a crisis of faith this is a difficult thing to do. God bless!

Hi!

It's easy today to have doubts creep into your mind about God... especially when there are so many Atheists who openly mock believers.

My advice is ask Heavenly father to help you recognize his hand in your life. Repent of anything you think you need to repent of. Just try have patience and diligence in finding your answers.

I believe, even though God will never leave us--it's really us who leave him--, somtimes He'll step back and "let go of the bike" and let us "find our balance"... this is how faith is made stronger.

As you follow God's will you will have greater peace in your life. Try it. Peace will come.

Remeber to take a step back and look at the big picture... don't focus on little, tiny things that really aren't important.

hope that helps! Have a great day!:)

For me its not a matter if i believe if He exists or not. Its more i doubt God could possibly do something in my crappy situations, or doubt that He was a good God who actually cared about my crappy situations.

The only thing I could do was, one, be honest with him. I would tell God, I am having a hard time thinking you can.will do something. AND i would also make a mental decision to say, but im not cutting you out of my life. Just keep him around. Don't shut God out of your life. Thats when life got super bad was when i did that. More then any doubts I had ever had - those doubts only got me to see alot more clearer about how God operates. And it has always been a pleasure to find out the way God operates because it turns out to be such a good thing for you in the end.
So keep him around, but be honest in your doubting.

I don't think I have ever lost my faith. I have got very discouraged before.I have never not believed in God. I have felt at times God was a million miles away. Then I remember his grace, his love, his goodness and I remember his gift -- eternal Life.I realize then my Lord is right here.It was just me!God Bless

No, I do not lose faith. That would be impossible as God's presence is with me always. Sometimes I choose to ignore what He has told me....then I feel kind of lost for a while...but it is not due to not believing. My peace is restored once I come back into listening to Him instead of myself.
