What do you believe will be the final outcome of this important debate over the future of "Comprehensive Immigration Reform" ?
There are many amendments being proposed, much rhetoric, and a lot of passionate debate over the integral sovereignity of this nation, What do you think the final bill will look like? Will it pass the House of Representatives? Will it be full of pork and bull****?
Will it actually be enforcable? Will this bill if passed into law cost more than it is worth?
What do you know of this proposed bill and the debate which is ongoing over it?

I don't know if it will pass the Senate. I think it will have a very hard time in the House.
It would 'accelerate' the SPP and cut the fence in half, and lower the number of border officers required by law signed prior to the election (with much fanfare). I think they have no clue how many are watching so carefully, though.
The political pork, like fixing Mexico's health care (what about OURS?) is in the bill. The money pork is going in the Iraq funding bill, though. The Dems literally are 'holding onto' all of the pork, totalling billions of dollars, until it they have only limited debate time and no time left to debate pork.
So much for 'no more earmarks.'

We do not need more laws that no one will obey OR enforce. Yes there will be pork attached (as always), will it be enforceable? Well we have simple laws now that are not enforced, yes I suppose it could be enforceable but it will not be - when employers are ready for cheap labor again the WILL go after it after all they are doing it now.
The security check portion of this bill is seriously lacking and nothing is spelled out. A two year old could probably find loop holes in which to evade the law. Maybe this is the honor system bill and everyone will simply turn themselves in and be good citizens.

It will be a "feel good" bill with billions of "pork and bull." Enforced? They haven't enforced immigration in this country since before Reagan was president and they ain't-a-gonna start now, regardless of what their bill says. Amnesty for 12 million now, then another 18 million in ten more years. The only hope we have is that once the Mexicans take this country, they will crack down and have immigration laws like the ones in the country they're running from.

The House of Reps will gut this bill like a fish. They'll add pork for their districts and take the enforcement triggers and reduce them to a jaywalking ticket. This bill is a joke. We don't need it. We need STRICT enforcement of existing laws already on the books.

They don't even want the vote recorded. If they don't record their vote , vote them all out. If this bill passes our country won't be worth living here. If they don't build a fence first and enforce our laws this bill travesty of justice.
