I'm sure there are times when everyone doesnt answer their phone. As for his having it on lock, some people just have their phone on lock so they don't accidentally dial numbers. Others just don't like people to snoop even if they have nothing to hide. If it bothers you so much then just ask him and watch his reaction.

To question it shows a lack of trust. No healthy relationship will last without trust. If it's such a problem, ask him about it. If he gets very defensive, he's probably up to no good.

Hmm, he might have a whole bunch of other girls numbers on his contact list. Ask to see his phone and tell him to unlock it. If he loves you..he will do anything for you, unless he has something to hide from you.
