He also said to pray in the closet.
Just a reminder.

Some Christians have a problem with fraudulent evangelists, usually on television, who are really just out to make a buck. So-called faith healers, such as Roberts, Hinn, Popoff, etc., who appear to be instrumental in instant cures are probably counterfeit. They only heal non-verifiable, invisible conditions such as back pain, arthritis, etc. If they were real, they could regenerate amputations, burn tissue, heal downs syndrome, etc. Jesus could raise the dead. Healers claim to be using the power of Jesus, so they should be able to cause him to heal everyone. Christians don't have a problem with real evangelists, though.

Yes ,I agree and even starred your question. I believe every Christian should play an active role;you join a club take part in it.But I also believe we must work by example and influence.I am greatly disconcerted when Christians claim that Aids is punishment from God,or when people blow up themselves at abortion clinics. You are right we need to open up dialogue,

So many so-called Christians want to take the easy way out. They say salvation comes by faith alone. So they prefer to sit on their hands in church and pay some gabby clergyman to do the preaching for them. People like Fireball say no to the door-to-door ministry even though it was done just that way in the Bible. Acts 20:20 says: "“I did not hold back from telling you any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching you publicly and from house to house.”

I really don't know why either. The only group that I know of that does this successfully is Jehovah's witnesses.
We're following Christ's example and listening to his command to preach and make disciples.
We also strive to so love and long-suffering towards others within in and not in our faith. This is done at the meetings all the time.
I don't know why some get so angry at us for listening to what Christ told us to do either. I know that no matter how hard the fight is against us, we'll all persevere and survive from one system to the next.
Agape!

Because there are different denominations of Christianity and not all denominations promote evangelizing! I personally dont care for it as I have my own views and ideas and beliefs. I dont need someone telling me Im going to hell if I dont believe or worship in the way that they were told to! Its really kind of an obnoxious thing to do when you are forcing your beliefs on others. True evangelizing doesnt threaten..........it offers information......put it out there and let others decide whether or not it fits with their lives! There are 26 versions of the bible. Each a bit different.......its up to each person to decide for his or her own soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, but the key word here is Christians where the identifying factor for this group is those who have Faith in Jesus to get them to Heaven. Now why do people who say they are Christians belittle the other people who have Faith in the very same Jesus to get them to Heaven? I don't know. Especially when it says "you will know that they are Christians by their love" I find that it is mostly Catholic bashing on here did you mean some other Christian group?

God does no longer prefer you to tell everybody which you're Christian(yet it incredibly is going to possibly be basic to tell them while they're your chum), God needs you to have faith, he needs you to stay removed from sin, you prefer no longer share your pastime for the lord Jesus(i do no longer use his finished call for specific reasons), to talk approximately God in front of persons you will must be in church or be with somebody that certainly believes of their faith.

I agree that every christian must share in the public ministry. Romans 10:9,10, 13-15 :If you publicly declare that word in your own mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and exercise faith in your heart that God raised him up from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one exercises faith for righteousness, but with the mouth one makes public declaration for salvation. For 'everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved.' However, how will they call on him in whom they have not put faith? How, in turn, will they put faith in him whom they have not heard? How, in turn, will they hear without someone to preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things.

I'm afraid you will need to paint in the fine details as to which Christians you are refering to who get angry, as well as the identity of the others who are evangelizing. Do you mean that the others who are evangelizing are not Christian? I think it's apparent why we would oppose that.
