Don't worry about what you are praying for. The Holy Spirit will filter out that which is of the flesh and that which is of the spirit. Just be honest with God. Remember, even King David prayed that God would break the teeth of his enemies in their mouths.
Psalm 58:6
Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

Wrong to pray to manipulate another. Wrong to pray to try and force our will on God (as if that could ever happen, which it cannot). Contrary to what others may think, there is nothing wrong for asking God for something you want. The caveat should be, always if it's alright with Him that you have it, and in all things we ask, let His will be done. Also wrong to pray for our own hidden agenda. God knows our hearts, we can't pretend to be altruistic if at the base of our prayer is really selfishness.

You can pray for healing, or wealth, or wisdom, or forgiveness, or just to have a good day. You can pray for God to bless your business or your family. You can pray for God's protection for our armed forces and for victory on the battle feild. Do not neglect the prayers of thanks.
To be completely honest you can pray for anything you want. But I wouldn't expect God to grant any request for something immoral (more booze, cheap weed, getting laid by someone other than your spouse, not to get caught doing something you shouldn't, etc.)
Also, God will answer every prayer. Just bear in mind that it may not be the answer your were looking for.

James 4:2-4
2 You desire and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. You do not have because you do not ask. 3 You ask and don’t receive because you ask wrongly, so that you may spend it on your desires for pleasure. 4 Adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? So whoever wants to be the world’s friend becomes God’s enemy.

Praying for anything is a sin.. Who do u think u are asking GOD to change his divine plan to suit some whim of yours??
Ignore everything they tell u in the Prayer/Fantasy industry-- and just be a good person and be mindful of others...
Millions and billions of people asking GOD for this and that... No way to treat a friend...

Prayer should not include self gratifying requests. Prayer should be about asking God to help others, or to find strength, wisdom, or direction. It should always be genuine.

Asking for anything that is not in agreement with the Word of God. Asking for drugs. Asking for sex outside marriage. Asking to win the lottery.

we could consistently consistently try to coach our interest to larger issues. The Bible asks us to desire continuously and to consistently be in touch with God, yet in fact that as we pass approximately our on an generic basis lives our interest is taken up by utilising petty concerns like looking a motor vehicle parking area. while you pray, and as you attend to the narrow self-centredness of your on an generic basis life, you could remind your self that those concerns are small, and there are larger themes which require our prayers. I regularly discover myself praying for stupid issues, and when I grow to know it I remind myself of what's incredibly important, and that i take advantage of it as an danger to lift my thinking, and to no longer get too linked to the foolishness of the on an generic basis runaround. God will fill our lives with small kindnesses and presents simply by fact we like Him and He loves us, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it incredibly is important to maintain those issues in perspective, too.
