Could I be pregnant? I am two days late and never before been over?

one day late in my life. 90% of time exactly 28 days.. I have had a couple minutes of cramping mild on the day I should have started. I have taking a home pregnancy test today and it said negative. I feel tired andhave tingling breasts and heartburn and acid reflux like crazy. My husband and I are trying for a baby so I am hopefull but not sure. I had a laproscopy four months ago. Maybe it helped if I am that is. :)

I was on steroids a couple weeks ago for seven days and on muscle relaxers and arthiritis meds. Could that delay my period?

I am three days in being late and only spotted a couple times a pink color. do you think i could be starting late?

You could be pregnant. Just redo the test in about 3 to 4 days or got to the DR and get a HCG quantitive test.

Try testing again in the morning. If it is still a negative and you still have signs of pregnancy call your doctor and ask for a blood test.
There are several hpt that work wonderfully (even the $1 ones!0....but a new article came out saying First Response has been known to accurately read only 5 dpo!!! I just bought 3 FR test today for $17....yes they are a bit pricey.

For what did you have the laparoscopic surgery? If the pregnancy test was negative, the chances are less that ure pregnant. Try another good brand may be... and make sure you do the test in the morning when the urine is concentrated and the amount of hormone is at its highest. All the best!

This close a test should say positive! But, some brands do not pick up as early! If you do not start in 2 days, buy a 1st response! This one never let me down! Best wishes! You may indeed be pregnant!

its hard to say, all the symptoms can be fore early pregnancy,. or pms. Stress can delay a period too. But many women will not get a positive on a hpt until they are a week late (or more for me!) Try to be patient, and re-test friday or saturday.

it could possibly be the steroids making your period late...they do crazy things to your body... i would wait, and in a week if you still havent gotten your period...call the doc and ask for a blood test...good luck!
