If it's home made I wouldn't go past 5 days. If it's from the store just go by the use by date. If no date...then no longer than a week.

I'm answering this to tell you all of the danger of spoiled
pasta salad (any Kind.) My friend came in to work today and
she was so sick she could barely function. Today is Monday,
and she upchucked and had diarrhea all yesterday. When I
questioned her on what she ate, she ate a pasta salad that
had sit out all day (unbeknown to her). She has a bad
case of salmonella caused by the mayonnaise spoilage
I'm certain.
Dear cooks out there: Please keep ALL your easily
spoiled foods under refrigeration or iced down until just
before eating. Remove from the table right after lunch
and put back in the frig, or you too may suffer the sad
case of tasting it twice (or maybe a third time.)
My own personal quirk is NEVER TO EAT ANYTHING
unless I know who prepared it, and how it was prepared.

I am sure it will last several day's if your fridge is working properly , but I like to make a little less at a time and eat it within a couple of days. Fresh is better,[ and safer.] But that's just me.

relies upon on multiple variables,,, what became into the temp once you saved it,what's the temp of your refrigerator. The mayo is the sole ingredient i might actually be apprehensive approximately. maximum all of us is healthful adequate to take some microbes yet some are no longer (elderly, infants,, ect) i might scent it, if it relatively is in basic terms some days previous, smells sparkling, flavor. If uncertain, throw it out! stable success

ways to tell if its been in too long
the mayo has turned back to oil,the macaroni is hard and the edges are curled, green mold is making penicillin on it after a month I would be suspect of it.little brown blotches of bacteria are strategically floating in and around the oily hard pieces of dry macaroni..you get the picture? LOL

I wouldn't eat it past 3-5 days depending on how strong of a stomach you have.
