Price meaning the cost of meaning how much a person would pay to buy this ring...
And a really good, if not flawless diamond - for the color and clarity. Bought at a reputible jeweler - not Tiffany, but not the flea market.
Answers that don't give me a price are not good answers. Please don't answer this question in if are not going to answer my question - with a price.

Oh, and $1000? Not quite. I don't know much about pricing of stones and jewelery, but I know that is WAY too cheap. Maybe if it was made with CZ...

At bluenile a similar setting in white gold would be about $650, and a high quality diamond would run you $12,000.
Diamond would be G color, VVS1 clarity and very good cut for 12k.
Here is the setting for $650 in 18k white gold.
Expect platinum to be more.

I bought online a loose diamond at www.uniondiamond.com, and found there prices to be very good. Then I had the diamond set at a jewelery store.
There you find a certified diamond you like for a good deal less.

I don't konw half the thing you are saying. I'm not a big ring person the only ring i ever wear is my wedding ring. Here's what i can tell u. Think of later on in life. The ring my hubby got of me pops out some. Well now we have 3 kids under 5.... I can only wear the ring when we go out because other wise i'm cutting my kids with it. I learned this with our first son no matter how carefull you are when u go to pick up a baby the rings gets them somehow... So maybe go for a flatter set stone and don't worry about size compared to finger. I don't think anyone is going to think wow that's a nice ring but look at her finger it's huge.

So, what are you asking? How much should a ring like itcost? To make such a determination, you must know exactly what color and clarity. A color G, VVS, is much more expensive than, say, a color M, SI1. You already have the cut. How large are the channel-set diamonds ... their color and clarity are important as well ...

1 1/2 carat good quality channel set that is second hand...i would pay proably $8,000 tops. If this is a ring you are tyring to sell keep in mind that you will need to lower the actual appraisal value of it since it is second hand and you are not a jewler and can not offer the same security of purchase that a jelwer can.

There are several good online jewelers- bluenile.com and pompeii3.com are two. bluenile for one lets you build a ring to your own specifications. Go to the website, plug in the criteria that you mentioned, and you'll have your price estimate.

It would depend on where you bought it and if you shopped sales or not. I would think a ring of 1 CTW from a regular store like Zales would run you at least 1,000 dollars if it is that cut.

I would think it would run around $ 10,000.00 for a good quality diamond.
