The second one is GORGEOUS!!! Not so into the first one- it looks kinda 80's to me (which I know is in!), where as the second one looks timeless! Plus you would have to have the perfect body to wear the first one, which I don't know if you do (cuz I don't!), but I would want something more flattering like the second one

I like the second one simply because it is nearly impossible to dance in those mermaid style dresses! You have to do this little shuffle when you walk, and I don't know about you, but I would definitely want to dance a lot at my own wedding! You have a lovely figure and could pull the first one off, but that a-line style is even more flattering and makes any woman's curves (even someone who doesn't have body issues) look spectacular. I find that those mermaid dresses draw attention to the areas most women don't want attention drawn. Even thin women look like they have bigger butts in them. You have far too lovely of a figure to do it such an injustice. But, that's just my opinion! You have to make the final decision. Good luck and congrats!

Without knowing a thing about you I like #2 better.

I guess the question would be is how are you built?
If you have fuller hips or broad shoulders you would not want #1. The tightness of it would accencuate large hips, and the off-shoulder look is not good for broad shoulders. Also the dress will look weird if you are stick thin and don't have the curves for it.

If you are bigger busted you would not want #2.
The spaghetti straps are not good for bigger busted girls, they also are not great for people with broad shoulders.
The empire waist is good for helping to create a smaller-looking waist and the A-Line of this dress will probably be more flattering than the first one.

I like the 2nd one better...timeless and classy. I agree to try on a style similar to what you're looking at to see which looks better on you. I had a friend take pictures of me in each dress so I could decide later. All the one's I thought were gorgeous, were not very flattering on me, and ironically, the one I didn't care for made me look like a princess. Congrats and best of luck!

I think that neither of them are bad looking and from that red dress you had on there wouldn't be a huge problem with the first mermaid style gown body type wise. I just would think twice about it simply because its going to be hard to really get down and dance at the reception with that material clinging to your legs like that.

You are a very pretty young woman and both gowns are beautiful and will look great on you. Is there anyway you can try both styles on? If so, do it and choose the one you feel the more comfortable in. No matter which one you choose you will be breathtaking to your fiance. Best of luck to you and congratulations.

I like the second one, I got bored of waiting for your picture to load up as it took ages but I looked at both dresses and think the second one is bet. I like the skirt of the first one but have never been keen on anything that has that sort of "bandaged look" like the top of the first one.

Neither is knocking me out, but I prefer the second. The important thing is how they look on you...I've found that dresses I'd never expect to look good on me end up looking way better than the ones I thought I would like...its hard to tell.

I love the first one. It is not the classic strappless puffy dress everyone seems to be wearing. It is very elegant and soficticated. Though you may need the right body type to wear it...not short and chubby like me:)

WOW! I like them both, they are so different that its hard to choose which I like better. Probably I would say that if I had the body for that first dress I would choose that one just because I had the body for that dress!
