commercial rent reimbursment may refer to the actual loss sustained by a premises becoming uninhabitable as a result of a covered loss. If you own a building and it has a rental value and the building is damaged you lose the rental, therefore rental reimbursement.
Now then the term rental reimbursement also is used to describe the situation whereby you have been involved in an auto accident and with the car not driveable you need to rent a substitute vehicle and sustain those costs ie rents are then reimbursed by the Insurance carrier.
