I would do it. Roll the dice to see what else I got. I'm now an adult and out of their house and we don't speak anymore. I've been through physical and emotional abandonment, physical and emotional abuse, neglect and just pretty much had an unhappy "childhood" with scattered good memories. Ppl say you stick w/ family no matter what but when they prove to you that they're not sticking w/ you there's no reason to stay and subject yourself to negativity. It was all preventable, I understand that now that I'm all grown up. I never think "man I wish I had different parents" consciously but w/ the option I would take it and see what happens.

i wouldnt trade with my parents
ive known them and been around them too long i wouldnt want to start all over with new ones.
even tho i dont get along with my dad ALLL the time...i still wouldnt trade them.

i would trade my parents for my grand parents on my moms side... they raised me till i was 13 or so anyway
