My husband and I were separated for 1 month and I ended up sleeping with a mutual friend of ours a few days before getting back together with my husband. Its now been a month and I think I am pregnant. I know if I tell my husband about this we will end up divorced if the kid is his or not....I love my husband and don't want to lose him and I don't believe in abortions either. Any advise would be helpful.

First of all, FIND OUT IF YOU ARE PREGNANT. If you are, you need to tell your husband the entire truth. It's not right to lie to him about something so important, he has THE RIGHT to chose if he wants to stay or leave and the fact that you slept with someone while you were separated should matter in his decision. You want to keep him through lies and deception, or you want him to stay because he's willing to work through it all, the good and bad? Also, if you are pregnant and lie about the baby, eventually someone will find out the truth, they always do, and then the mutual friend will say something and it will be a BIGGER mess than it already is and guess who will pay the ultimate price? Not you, not your hubby or friend, but the baby. Be honest, own your actions, tell your husband the truth and take it like a woman should! No more lies or deception.

To begin with it seems like you don't love him as much as you claim to, since you CHEATED on him while separated after only a month? Wow, barely let the sheets cool off huh. Well you'd better tell him now and suffer whatever consequences may come from your overactive libido. If it comes out later in a very bad way you'll really be loosing a lot. Get out in the open now and take your medicine! What a pity tho, after only a month already sleeping around, bummer, I feel sorry for him.

OH BOY!! When I was married the first time - my husband found drugs and alchohol to be HIS best friends instead of me, but I stayed with him (for awhile). During that time of depression - I found 'someone else' for one night. Then a few months later I got pregnant. He DID claim the boy couldn't be his. Come to find out - it was. So PLEASE don't abort. Sit your husband down and tell him with all your heart - you are FOR him. This MAY be a mistake (the affair was), but don't take it out on the child. He/She needs BOTH of you! Secrets are dangerous & usually do not stay in the closet.
Or make sure it's your husbands and keep your mouth shut.

I would get an abortion, there's no doubt in my mind about that.
Otherwise, you have no other choice but to come clean to your husband, and bear the consequences. Figure out which is a bigger sacrifice to you, and act accordingly. Good luck.

i would tell him in a very slight way- when he is taking a nap or something. so then you can really tell him later and he already knows, and won't divorce. but it depends on your husband's temper.

Well honesty is always the best answer. You were seperated, so there is nothing wrong with it. I bet he slept with somebody else too. I would ask him first if he slept with somebody else and if he answers yes then tell him you did too. Or you could just tell him you are pregnant and let him think that it is his.

you should tell him because there is a possibility its not his.you guys were separated so he really should not have aproblem.whos to say he didnt sleep with someone else
