I'm not sure about the whole big bang theory, but I would like to know one thing....if your 'god' created this earth and all that exists, where the he!! did he/she come from? And did your 'god' create all the other planets too? I'm pretty well read on the bible as it was shoved down my throat the majority of my life and I do not recall anything on that...

Its religion. There is no need to think beyond the bible. The bible mentions nothings of "before god" so they don't even wonder. They question the big bang because they want to know what was before that. But yet they don't question where God came from.

Hey, i'm not a religious person but i studied them all in different degrees as well as some ancient cultures. The earliest being Egypt and this place became the focal point of learning for the rest of the world.

The religions of today plagierized the information from this culture as well as the Sumerians/ Babylonians. Men aquired knowledge that had hidden logical meanings but never leanred the true meanings of those teaching and went back to their lands teaching as though it came from them. So a concept of a all-(whatever attribute they give) omni-being was born which resulted in the belief system of today.

The word 'god' takes on many forms from being human to animal, place, the sun and even nature. What the religious people are describing as the omni-being is nature but then they wanted to personify it and writing in their books he spoke and walked etc. Men & women were always considered gods & goddesses and we still are. Ps-82:6 says it but the religious like to play word games with this quote by saying it is apelt with a common 'g'. The fact is the the language it was written in originally-Hebrew- did not have capital nor common letters like we do and changing the size of a letter does not change the meaning of the word. The word is Elohim- a plural word translated as singular form 'God' conveniently. It should be 'Gods' and proof of this is in the bible it says let us make man in our image....denoting plurality for the word god.

One teaching that religions and cultures share is beings from outside earth coming to man and imparting their wisdom or knowledge. They all say it. What they are describing there is extraterrestrials. Some even mixed in or interbred with us and again the bible supports it in Gen-6:4. It may seem strange but there is more to it.

> Where did your 'god' come from?
A dude named Abram had a real weird dream, then he changed his name to Abraham. When he had kids, he told his kids about his dream, and told them to tell their kids, etc.

This is where The Lord of Judaism, Allah of Islam, and God the Father of Christianity came from.

Many many years later, a dude named Moses said that The Lord had created pretty much everything except Himself.

As an atheist, I don't belief in the existence of god. I believe in science and real facts. I'm sorry to hear that you were force to belief in a god. But, it is never too late to stop being brainwashed and see the real truth.

God is the only One who exists, yet was not created. I'm sorry the Bible was shoved down your throat. Maybe you can try Jesus Christ, who never forced anything on anybody. He simply taught, preached, performed miracles, and loved the people. He told His disciples to leave people who didn't believe alone, once they had heard the gospel.

All the galaxies are moving away from each other, that is an undeniable fact,. To be doing that, where would they have to be at one time?

God simply always "was". He's spirit, not matter and therefore doesn't necessarily have the same properties as matter, such as contingency.
