Kurt nor Tony wanted to give any room to the other. Greg Biffle was right there in the thick of it to. If you watch the tape very closeit seems to me you will see Biffle bump Tony a little when it looked like Tony checked up for Kurt. As for Kurt's pit antics he was wrong but they better follow suit when other drivers do the same. Can't play favorites like when Jeff Took a hit at Matt in Bristol last year. Fair across the table i say.

I've only seen the video clip on nascar.com but if you listen to DW (I think) talking he says the two of them, Stewart and Kurt Busch, had been really racing each other hard for three or four laps previous. So without seeing what went on for those three or four laps, and only seeing the video of the actual wreck, I'd say Kurt cut up in front of Tony pretty quickly and I'm not sure Tony could have avoided the initial impact. Now the second impact could perhaps have been minimized but it's hard to say for sure. And was Kurt wrong to do what he did in the pits? No question, yes, he was. That was a narrowly avoided major incident that could have cost an innocent pit crew member dearly.
How long does NASCAR usually take to review things like this and do whatever they are going to do about it? Will we likely hear something tomorrow or Wednesday?

No, Tony shouldn't have let Kyle merge. They were racing for position. Kurt should've been more aware of his surroundings before he tried to move back up the track. I'm not a Tony fan, and not a Kyle fan, but that's just racing !!! Yes, Kurt was in the wrong for his behavior in the pits. I think that was a slap in the face to his fans, because then he didn't even get to finish the race.

You can only blame the spotter so much. I would like to see the video with the spotter talking on there. Kurt was trying to do the slide job not only on Stewart but he moved up on Biffle just before that. From what happened in the pits, Busch's spotter could have very well said clear. Heck yeah his behavior in the pits were wrong. Thankfully, that crew member looked up when he did. Busch put that crew member which had nothing to do with anything at a huge risk. Stewart had no real way to know if he checked up a little and let Busch in if he would have been run over. No, I don't think Stewart should have let Busch merge as you call it.

Well I saw the video of it and it just looked like Busch's spotter didnt tell him that he wasnt clear. Its late in the race and Stewart had position so you dont want to just let people go. For some reason I bet people will all blame Stewart for this wreck. It was just a racing incident that seems to involve these 2 several times this year.
Kurt was in the wrong for what he did in the pits. NASCAR has come down hard in the past for pit road issues. You cant do stuff like that because someone could really get hurt. They need to take 100 points away, fine him, and maybe sit him down for a race.
Happy - I doubt Tony is scared of Kurt. There are more than a few drivers (including Harvick) that would love to take him and his brother behind the track and beat some *** like Jimmy Spenser did.

I think you have to blame spotters for this one. Sure, Stewart could have gave a little, but we ALL know Stewart isn't known for his giving in NASCAR. But that's what makes him the kind of driver he is, and that's what makes him loved and hated. As for Kurt's actions on pit road, inexcusable and uncalled for. Someone could have been seriously injured if not killed by his little frustrated stunt. I thought Kurt was over that immature stage, but I guess a little came back for a while. He did apologize afterward, but how could he have apologized if he had hit Tony's crew member? Not smart on Kurt's part.

Even as a Stewart fan, I figure that Kurt's spotter didn't tell him that he wasn't clear of Tony's car, so I can't blame either driver, Tony didn't know Kurt was going to move up in front of him.
And also, I don't think Tony had enough time to back out when Kurt went up, because as soon as Kurt moved up, they hit each other, barely a split second, no one could've let up that fast to prevent that crash.

Personally I don't think Tony had a clue Kurt was coming up. I feel it was Kurt's and/or his spotters fault. I don't think Tony would of had time to react, and if he did Tony probably would ended up with Biffle in his rear. I feel Kurt was pushing his luck..he was lucky he didn't get wrecked when he and Biffle touched before him and Tony wrecked. Looked like to me Kurt was being the aggressive driver. Pit row..totally uncalled for - very unprofessional.

Appeared that Tony had the perfered line and that Busch moved up a little early,or did the spotter for Busch have a poor line of sight and told him to move at the wrong time?
As for the pit action then Busch should be parked for a race.

The idiots on velocity, Spencer and Wallace, alluded to that a jiffy in the past. yet with them, who's established with? If he did, i might think of it relatively is attack and battery. all of them looked as though it might think of that Busch working into Stewart on the song became into so undesirable yet those autos are built to take little bumps like that without the drivers getting injury. McReynolds have been given on his little cleansing soap field and felt sorry for the damaging adult males that had to restoration the autos. What the devil is their jobs different than to restoration the autos? i think of that if Stewart pulls that style of crap, he ought to get run into. The altercation that they had final year that fee Busch a great advantageous became into additionally triggered via Stewart's gasoline guy being on the pit lane without his gasoline can. It appeared to me that he staged his risky circumstance whilst he observed Busch coming. permit's settle for it, Stewart is a chump that looks to flee with too a lot.
