First off, there were no dinosaurs around when there were people. Secondly, it didn't really happen. I am a Christian, and when these evangelicals ask me how I can say that, I tell them that it was a parable told by God to teach obedience. If Jesus the son told parables to give lessons to his followers, why couldn't God the father do the same?

first of all, how could you prove the boat was too big to float when no one knows for sure what a cubit measures. Second of all, if a boat that big couldn't float, how do you explain air craft carrier?
However, nany Christians, those who are not literalists, accept that this is a parable, perhaps related to other flood myths from circa the same time. There are theories that "all the animals in the world" meant all those in the immediate area of noah. (much limiting the various animal breeds he'd have to account for) A lot of us don't believe that Dinosaurs and humans lived contiguously - however, a flood sure would knock out that Nemesis theory.
I believe in limited evolution, but that it was directed by some outside source. I know, I am more offensive then the Creationists. Let me ask you this, how come if it's a scientific fact, you all still call it the Theory of Evolution?
I also don't think the earth is 4000 years old. I think it's is much older. I'll concede that.

No, science hasn't proven that it couldn't stay afloat, since it was about 1/3 to 1/2 the size of Titanic. Also, God sent the animals to the Ark - Noah didn't have to go out and "round them up". Also, Noah only took 2 of every unclean "kind" of animal, not species, and 7 of every clean. There are about 8,000 different "kinds" of air-breathing land animals, which would be roughly 16,000 animals total, most of which were not much bigger than a cat. This would not present a problem. There are also only about 28 different "kinds" (not species) of dinosaurs. I believe Noah brought babies of all the animals on the ark, which would solve the size problem. Either all the animals would have eaten vegetation (since they all used to be vegetarians anyway) or God would have induced a state of hibernation in the animals for 1 year. Most of the dinosaurs died out from the post-Flood climate, but a few species survived to plague Mankind in the thousands of years following as "dragons". Man killed off most of these, but there may still be a few species left alive today, which is supported by cryptozoology.

The ark of God resembled a barge. The ark was approximately 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. It has been calculated that the ark had the carrying capacity to more than 300 railroad stock cars. The ark could hold some 7000 different animals. I know people delight in any opportunity in trying to disprove the Bible. But the Lord who told Noah to build the ark was more than capable of making enough room for the animals of each kind that were spared. No. animals did not evolve. They each were created, as we are, by the power of God.

Noah did not "round up" the animals; God caused them to come to him. Also, I read this someplace and I thought it made very good sense, it could have been baby animals of each species that came onto the ark, they take up less room!
Remember that the animals we have in the world now are generations and generations removed from those that came on the ark. Therefore, the thousands and thousands of different kinds of birds, for example, would not have all been on the ark. They evolved over time. This is different that the kind of "evolution" preached by those who don't believe biblical creation. Nothing odd about different kinds of birds evolving from birds. I live in an apartment complex that has a lake, with ducks that live and breed there. From one generation to the next, you can see the mutations in feather color, size, etc. Imagine such changes over thousands of years.
The bible also said God told Noah to fill the ark with food for the animals, so he did.

global warming will melt the ark free for you to see.
there were bigger ship's than noah's ark.

The grand-daddy of ancient warships
Athenaeus gives us a detailed description of a very large warship, built by Ptolemy Philopator (c. 244–205 bc).7 It was 130m (420 feet) long, 18m (57 feet) wide, and 22m (72 feet) high to the top of her gunwale. From the top of its sternpost to the water line was 24 metres (79.5 feet). It had four steering oars 14m (45 feet) long. It had 40 tiers of oars. The oars on the uppermost tier were 18m (57 feet) long. The oars were counter-balanced with lead to make them easier to handle. It had a double bow and a double stern and carried seven rams, of which one was the leader and the others were of gradually reducing size. It had 12 under-girders 275m (900 feet) long. The ship was manned by 400 sailors to handle the rigging and the sails, 4,000 rowers and 2,850 men in arms for a total of 7,250 men. This ship was too large to be of much practical use.8
Some things of interest about this ship. First, there are no forests worth mentioning in Egypt. All the lumber had to be imported from elsewhere, likely Lebanon. This ship had a crew that was almost twice as large as that of the largest aircraft carrier we have ever built! The size of the ship approximated the size of Noah’s Ark. Like Noah’s Ark, it would have had to carry provisions for all on board. Oh, for a time machine to go back and capture this ship on film!
Athenaeus describes other very large ships and boats of antiquity. One ship had a catapult designed by Archimedes that could hurl a 55 kg (120 pound) stone over 180 m (600 feet).9
Conclusion
What should we learn from this? Firstly, we are not as smart as we think we are! Just because we cannot duplicate something that was done thousands of years ago, it does not mean the ancients could not do it either!
Secondly, we should learn from history. We have nothing to fear from the study of true history, which supports the Bible. In fact, we have much to learn. From these accounts we have given, it is obvious mankind was able to build huge ships that rivalled Noah’s Ark in size. We do not know how it was done, but they did it!

Only the animals that can adopt to the environment of Babylon (if the place of Genesis writings refers to the area as the Garden of Eden or just an immediate place outside of it)
The flood is different from the deluge that happened in the time of the dinosaurs eons before that. This Genesis flood was only in the world known to Noah and not the whole world.

The whole noah story is filled with logical holes, but even still you will receive all kinds of ridiculous answers from christians. One of those answers is that god helped noah & the boat stay afloat, they also claim that back in those days animals and humans were on "good terms" so it was easier for noah to round them all up. They also claim that noah didn't get two of EVERY animal, he only got two of every KIND of animal. Which means instead of getting 2 german shepherds, 2 collies, 2 dobermans...etc... He only got 2 dogs.... & instead of getting 2 of every breed of horse he only got a pair from one KIND of horse.... Which significantly cuts down the number of animals, but still doesn't answer how it's possible for a boat of that size to even stay afloat.
the obligatory answer from them is that god kept it afloat. The part i don't understand is that if god is so powerful why didn't he just snap his fingers & kill everyone except noah & his family instead of going through this whole dramatic ordeal of having noah build the boat over centuries and having this massive rain and blah blah blah. Why the drama? I mean, if god is so powerful that he can make the dead bodies vanish without a trace, why couldn't he have just made them vanish period instead of going through this big flood ordeal?

They didn't, of course.
And no, I do not think that any animal evolved from a different animal. Tigers will not become rabbits. Monkeys do not become humans. Yet each animal does evolve and adapt to its environment.

You take these stories a little too literal. I think you should focus more on the "spirit" of the law rather the letter of.
