If its a dell or gateway, the product key will be on a sticker located somewhere on your computer (usually the back). If you purchased this copy of windows yourself, then the key will be with the original packaging (either in the manual, on a certificate, or even on the disk itself)

Check the outside of the PC tower. There should be a sticker on there with the product key on it.

if u have purcased it direct from a manufactorer you could find the product key on the side of the tower but it should normally give it on the case of the CD...
