if someone you knew well and trusted to be of sound mind told you they'd been abducted by aliens, would you believe them?

I would listen to what they had to say because they're my friend. I'm skeptical though, I don't believe aliens have visited Earth. But if I had enough creditable evidence I might change my mind.

Not unless they could provide solid evidence that supports the claim. The human mind is pretty easy to trick. Lots of ways for the person to experience something and think it was an alien abduction.

definatley, I think It happens to me except you are not physically abducted as such, I think you are literally plugged in and its your brain that is hijacked while sleeping. Basically it makes more sense to believe it as for me it came out of nowhere and I cannot explain or justify why I believe it except for a sore patch on the back of my head like a usb port. I also think I'm sane though could be wrong

Probably not. Aliens would have very little reason to come to this backwards planet. Many of us still believe in fairy tales. They'd move on in disgust.

Well, yeah I guess I would. If I knew them really well as a trustworthy, level headed person, and they were being utterly serious you'd have to won't you.
I don't really believe in aliens that much though, so it'll have to be someone really close!

It would depend really. I don't totally write off the idea of aliens. There is just too much in outer space that we know nothing about. But there is always the option that they fell ill too.

Probably not! I would think that they were dreaming or something. But then again, there would always be that thought in the back of your mind, so I wouldn't really know what to think
