My poor baby has one of her last teeth coming in (the bottom just to the left of her middle teeth) and she is MISERABLE...i have been giving her chewable asprins for the pain ans fever but she is still up all night screaming bloody murder and the only thing that stops it is letting her sleep with me which means getting kicked in the face every 10 seconds (she is arough sleeper)

she takes the asprin okay as long as she is calm, but do you have any suggestions that may help her to sleep all the way thru the night with out waking me up...it has been almost 2 weeks and i cant take another sleepless night :)

You can give her Children's Tylenol or Motrin for pain, Motrin last longer than Tylenol. I did not think aspirins were good for kids? Not sure but that is what I remember being told.
You can keep her on the Motrin for a few days to keep the pain down. I did it for my kids and it never hurt them, it might also hlep her sleep.
I also gave my kids Teething Tablets, they are all natural and sold at wal-mart etc by the vitamins, they were a life saver for me!!

Here is an old remedy that does work. Forget the asperin, etc. Get some Scotch Broom. Here in the North West it grows wild, but if it doesn't in your area, then go to an herbologist to get some. Pack the area with Scotch Broom,
for 15 min. at least, and no pain for 3 days. Other names may be Herba Mansa, Herba Manso, Witch Broom. It also has a mild antibiotic, and that helps.

The best thing I have found is called Hurricane gel. You don't need a script for it but you do have to ask the Pharmacist for it. Sometimes they have to order it. I think it is safe for children over 6 months but check with your Dr. or pharmacist first. it doesn't taste bad and works a million times better than orajel or ambesol. It lasts for a long time too. Try it out on yourself first..... It doesn't taste bad and works really well. I'm not one to take most people's advice, but I was desperate, and a friend told me about this. It saved my sanity and soothed my little one. Hope you check into it. Good luck to you

Aspirin is not suitable for children under 16, so stop giving it.
Use Bonjela, Calpol and baby Ibuprofen to ease the inflammation and the pain.
