what should i look for when buying a chi?

Here's a website that you can buy Chi straighteners from: http://www.folica.com/Chi_Flat_I_317_1.html . I have never used a Chi, but I have heard that they work really well. All you need to look for is size (not too small and skinny, but not too chunky), if it's ceramic or not (ceramic helps reduce heat damage), and quality (read reviews and look at pictures that come with the reviews).

Yes, the CHI iron seems to be the most popular, but it may not work on your hair type. There are some other very good flat irons out there, and a little shopping around can save you big bucks.. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply near you, you can go there and ask for assistance in finding the best flat iron for your hair type.

www.folica.com has really good deals on them, plus they price match if you find one cheaper.. they usually have free shipping and some sort of free gift too.. they are based in new jersey, so if you live near that, it takes only a couple days to get it.. (i live in ohio and it took 3 days with normal shipping).. if you click on flat irons, they have a top 10 list based on customer's opinions, plus every flat iron has tons of reviews! i used to have a chi, it broke after a couple of years, so i switched to a solia.. it works really good too!! who really knows which is better.. hope it helps!
