I want to know how the piercing is done. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. You go into the room
2. The piercer talks to you about the after care and addresses any questions you may have
3. You pull up or shirt and lie or sit up...your choice (i sat up, think...)
4. The piercer cleans and sanitizes the area to be pierced with iodine (unless you're allergic!!)
5. The piercer uses a marker thing to mark the point of insertion of the needle (you can look at it and say if you want them to move it or if it's in a good spot or whatever...)
6. The clamp.
lol! This is one of the scariest parts, I think? IDK...it's just this little clamp that they use to hole your skin taught...it kinda hurts but...you're almoooosst done...
7. The piercer take the needle and gets ready to punch it through...oh, but before that they put lube on the needle so it goes through real smoothly...
8. The piercer tells you to take deep breaths in and out....(try and just relax...shut your eyes if you have to...)
9.aaaannnd: BAM! ...God-damn! That smarts! ...But, look: you got this huge needle sticking out through your belly button! whoo hoo!
10. The piercer has to out the jewelry in, so they carefully (but QUICKLY, if they're good at their job!) move the needle out while simultaneously moving the hoop in...
11. The piercer will place the bead in the jewelry (assuming you are getting pireced with a captive bead ring...which is pretty common...easier to heal and clean...)
12. If you're lucky, the piercer will squirt some super concentrated cleansing stuff on the new pirecing...feels nice and cool... : )
13.....and then... you go pay, i guess!
lol! whooo! That was fun man! Let’s get something else pierced!!

It's not THAT bad. It hurt just as much as my cartlidge, if any. They clamp the skin and mark the point of insert. They use about a 3in needle and push it straight through. They replace the needle with the ring and voila!
