as long as it wasn't too high of a dose, there wouldn't be any dangerous effects. it might cause suppression of your thyroid function, meaning that your thyroid gland might stop producing hormones in reaction to the excess amounts of hormones in the bloodstream, but once you stop taking the synthroid, your thyroid would return to its normal function.

Thyroid meds like Synthroid just replace the naturally occurring thyroid hormone that your body should be making anyways, so having the occasional drink shouldn't interact with it. Don't binge drink of course.

The diagnosis of hypothyroidism is often somewhat soft, based on a slightly high TSH level. Taking Synthroid for a few months will not have done you any harm because your own thyroid production would have decreased to compensate for the external thyroid hormone. It takes a while for normal secretion to return so you should taper it slowly instead of stopping it suddenly.

if this happened the person would have weight loss as well as anxiety, never able to relax. May be shaky which would be noticeable in the hands.
