The homepage settings on the Internet Explorer might be set to display the blank page when you start Internet Explorer. Try going to any website. If it does, then set that website as your homepage. Then, the next time you will open IE, you will not see the blankpage anymore!
Hope this helps!

First of all, are you connected to the Internet. Check your cables to the router and to the modem. Make sure all the equipment is on. Turn off the modem, router, and your pc. Turn on modem, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn on router and wait at least 1 minute, then turn on the pc. Check again to see if you get the internet.
If not, open Command Prompt (start - run, type in cmd and hit enter). In command prompt typ in "ipconfig" without the quotes. You should be given an ip address, subnet mask, and default gateway. If you do not, you have a problem between your pc and the router. Check this out.
If you do, have the above, type in command prompt "ping 4.2.2.2" not including quotes. You should receive 4 ping responses; if you do not there is a problem between your router and the isp. Contact the isp.
If you get a proper ping response, then in comand prompt, type in "ping yahoo.com" without the quotes. You should receie 4 ping responses; if you do not receive any, you have a DNS setting problem either at the router or at your pc.
To address any of these further, write back telling us what you did and we can help further.

What exactly is the white page? Is it about:blank, or is the IE GUI not even showing up? If the GUI doesn't even show up, then the pogram is crahshing as soon as you open it up. Try re-installing IE, or just download firefox, which is much more reliable.
