One of religions main pillars is trying to lay out a moral compass for it's practitioners. The fact you act by a sense of right and wrong shows that you're a good person, I'm in the same boat as you, you want to believe but everything you've been taught from life and school point to nothing being out there. The way I finally grasped it was through a long time of just musing on the idea of faith. You have to balance your scientific/ rational beliefs with your moral/spiritual beliefs. The fact that you're trying means it'll all come to you eventually, good luck and I hope I helped.

Religion is NOT a lie. Who made this earth? Where did we come from and how was this universe created? People may think God creating this earth is ridiculous but what can be more ridiculous than JUST being created? That it just is? Only a dumbass would think that. People should just follow the religion they are born with because god created you that way: muslim, christian, or jewish. All these religions ARE real! You follow the one you are born with because if there was only one religion, almost 2/3 of this earth will be going to hell! I do not think god would do that. Everyone thinks that their own religion is right, and they should just follow the one they are born with and nothing will go wrong! For example, muslim and christian are practically the same; christian don't eat rabbit meat (or something like that) muslims don't eat pig meat, muslims fast, christians fast. muslims may put on the scarf on their head but that is only because they THINK that their hair makes them look pretty (and men will look at them in bad ways, giving them "gunah") so they cover their head so men will not see. Christians just do not think this way. Hope this helps!

The God of The Holy Bible knows all legalistic and organized religions, but He does NOT recognize ANY religion (legalistic establishment) as His one true religion.

Christianity is NOT a religion.
Jesus Christ is not a religion.

Those who believe in/accept Jesus Christ alone, above and beyond all else, are called Christians, because of their belief, trust, & acceptance of Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives as their personal and only Savior.

Having grown up in, chosen, or having had legalistic membership in the Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, Catholic, Jewish, Mormon, Buddhist, Agnostic, Atheist, Islamic, Moslems, Muslims...etc., etc., are irrelevant to God Almighty and Jesus Christ.

Just as Jesus Christ and God Almighty could care less whether those who come to the redeeming saving grace, knowledge, & acceptance of Jesus Christ into their hearts and lives as their personal Savior they can be rich, poor, educated, illiterate, socially and/or politically correct, a leader, a follower, nor does Jesus care that their skin is red, brown, black, white, yellow, or if they are male, female, child, adult, or young, old, single or married.

Jesus Christ does not care what nation/isle you come from either. Every nation, every language, every color shall be in Heaven.

The ONLY "true thing" Christians must all have and WILL all have in common & the ONLY thing important to God Almighty and is acceptable is that they are believers in, acceptance of, and love for Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

Here's one definition from the Bible: James 1:27(NIV): "Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."

Humility, reverence and compassion are things I would say are central, and the Bible itself suggests that true religion is not to be found in a particular group, whether an organization, an ethnic group, a lable or anything else, but in fact cuts through humankind as a whole, including Christianity.

I don't think there is any "true" religion as they are all organized by man. So long as your worship God and live your life to serve him and others I think you are following him in a way that is pleasing to him.

None. God did not start any religion. Religions are man made...regardless of whether they be Christian, Mulsim, Buddist or whatever.

God is........and it is up to each individual to choose to answer Him when He calls to them. He and He alone can guide you in your life.
