Hey Kyndall, when I was a kid I used to make a tent with a large floor fan, a large sheet, and heavy objects for the corners of the sheet. Lay the sheet on the floor and cover 3 of the four corners with the heavy objects of your choice. The last corner is where you'll insert the fan, you can secure it by tieing the sheet around the handle of the fan. Cut the fan on high and ta da... A tent. A cool, spacious, fun tent. And contrary to what you may think, the wind isn't super crazy under there, you can read, and write without all of your papers flying everywhere.

Depends on how high of a tent you want- but the backs of kitchens chairs work well- you may need to tie the blanket around the back of the chair, an ironing board and a kitchen table with weights to hold the balnket in place , couch cushions work too!

2] sting up cord or twine acrosss room, secure with painters tape or hooks so you can take it down easily, or throw over ends of furniture, etc.
