(Luke 18.16)
"But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

Even if the baby died before his/her baptism, the parents' sincere intent to have the child baptized would be sufficient to endow the child with the graces of baptism. This is a form of "baptism of desire", just as an adult who is taking instruction to enter the Church and be baptized, but who dies before the actual event still fully receives the saving graces of the sacrament. Just as the good thief on the cross was accepted into the kingdom through his expression of faith and his acceptance of Christ, and by extension the teachings of Christ, including baptism.

In the LDS church we believe that all children under the age of 8 that have not been baptized ( we get baptized at the age of 8) will go straight to Heaven.

The Baby will go to Heaven as God knows the intention of the people getting the baby baptized.

ALL Babies ARE SAFE. GOD Takes them to Be with HIM. Makes NO difference if they are baptized Or not. We Have a Loving God, Who Loves these Babies. He Did Not Give them To Us,, He Loaned Them To Us. The Lord Gives, And The Lord Takes Away. They are waiting for us in Heaven.

All infants and babies go to heaven. Baptism is only for those who have sinned. We do not inherit sins from our parents or from Adam and Eve. Infant baptism is a man-made concept and has absolutely no basis in the Bible teachings of baptism.

Children are born innocent, however the creation of them is what the Catholic faith requires baptism for. (to cleanse them, basically) However as someone already said, because the intent and action (though not complete) was there, it is viewed as done. So the baby, from that standpoint will go up. (Personally, I believe all babies go up anyway, just as another member had said)

The pope recently did away with limbo.
So according to cathcolic dogma all unbaptized babies now get to go straight to heaven instead of hanging around to see how many people pray for their souls.
Religion eh?
