I'm very curious about the different christian denominations, so I was wondering if you could help me out. Thanks.

The Baptist believe you only one time truly get saved ( born again)They don't believe you get saved over and over.They don't believe in women preachers- they find no Scripture giving permission to do so.They believe baptism is for the believer only.Some churches believe salvation is found in baptism.(they don't).they believe in the trinity The Father , Son, and Holy Spirit.they believe you need to be faithful to church and God will be faithful to you.
They believe a person sometime gets discouraged and gets out of the will of God. But they also believe that person needs to repent and renew their faith in God.
They believe that once your saved no man can take it from you.They believe in praising the Lord.They believe in the birth,death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.And they believe we are saved by grace Thur the finished work on Calvary and that is the only way you can be saved ( BORN AGAIN) It's thru the blood !!!

It is sad to say, but there are lots of different Baptist groups whose practices and beliefs differ. They believe in salvation, by faith through grace. They believe Jesus is the only son of God and the only way to heaven. There are women Baptist preachers and evangelists, although that is not as common as in some denominations. They do not believe you have to be baptized to go to heaven, but that you get baptized to show others that you have been saved by faith.

then why ask about them. why not just ask what denomination you are and what do you believe. maybe even have a list.
like i am apostolic pentecostal. we believe the day of pentecost still happens even today. we baptize in Jesus name. we do not believe in the trinity. that said we believe the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are titles of God and that they are all God and that there is one God and the name is Jesus.
we believe you are filled with the Holy Ghost and for the first time you will speak in tongues (another language). we believe in worshiping and praising God. after each song we sing we worship and praise God tell the next song starts. we believe in healings and many more things. we dont think all you need to be saved is to believe. we believe you have to have works to go with that. for the Bible says even satan believes and trembles. we believe we need to live like christ did. and not be part of this world. and many more. we mostly preach acts 2:38

they do believe the TRinity but they dont let women speak in the pulpit and for me the beauty is missing there...i like candles and the affirmation of faith and the gloria patri all that
they ignore good Friday but go to church twice or 3 times a week

They believe what ever they want, that is why there are so many different denominations.
