You don't.
Tattoos are trashy once you are of marrying age.
So unless you've got the money for a tattoo removal, don't get one.

Your mom said no. Listen to her.

You can't. You can try, but it probably isn't going to work. If you are under the age of 18 and really want this particular tattoo, then you need to wait it out till your 18. If this is something that you truly want on your body for the rest of your life, then waiting until you are 18 should be no problem at all. If you are 18 or over, then you don't need to convince you're mother to let you get the tattoo. All you have to do is go out and get it done. Either way, make sure you put plenty of thought into it since this is something that will be on your body for the rest of your life.

I am a mother with a tattoo. If any one of my children asked me if they could get a tattoo my answer would be no. I deeply regret my tattoo. I was 17 when I got it and really liked it. I still think that it is pretty, but I wish that I did not have to look at it on my body everyday. I really wish that I had someone to tell me "No" when I was that age. My kids know how I feel about my tattoo, and that I don't want them to run out and get one when they are of age. Removal is expensive, which is what I am having to face now. Listen to your mother, she has your best interests in mind. You will probably thank her for it later. Remember, there is love behind a "No".

Well I would see whats the reason why shes not into the tatoo thing first then explain why you want it . But I see where your moms coming from though when you get older it will start to look terrible and then you will wish you never had gotten them or you may end up like my cousin she had a lot of tattos but somthing happened then she had then removed and now she is left with red marks that wont go anywhere.

Okay I have a few questions for you first... How old are you? What is the tattoo? And why is your mom anti-tattoo?

What I am thinking is, she doesnt want you to regret it. Because we have ALL been there. My man got a few gang symbols removed from his knuckles. Mind you, he did it when he was like 15 and he wasnt in a real gang. So, anywho. Go ahead and answer those questions above and I will see whats going on.

Wait until you are about 21 to do it...I think by then your common sense will kick in. I got one at 18 and I don't regret it but I think if I was a little older I would have been a better decision maker. Your mom just wants the best for you and doesn't want to see you regret something...

i have been in that position and i must say that you will never convince your mother to letting you get it. I have two tattoos and my folks (who condon this art) never knew about them until five years later. Then again it all depends how old you are. When they found out they didn't tell me anything, that is something that is totally up to you, in reference that its your body, but the answer to your question, don't think its possible to convince her. But think twice about it before actually getting it.

First of all how old are you. If your under 18 just wait it out , if you really want one now ull really want it by the time u turn 18, if u dont want it by your 18 then it was better that u waited anyway. When i was 15 i wanted tatts that i deff wouldnt get now thankgod i didnt get them. Im comfortable with my tatt choices now. If ur already 18 go and get it, what's the worse she can do yell get upset... she'll get over it.

You may not be able to convince your mother to let you get a tattoo. I got one when I was younger, and now I'm looking to get it removed. It seemed like a good idea at the time. Please wait, your still so young.

Let me ask you couple questions.
1.What is the purpose of the tattoo?
2.Is that permanent ? in about 5-20 years later you will not regret?
3.What is meaning of tattoos (symbols) that will be displayed on your body?
4.What impact will tattoo have on your skin?
5.How do you explain to yourself need for a tattoo?
