First off, there definitely were dinosaurs. Second off, it doesn't say directly that God created dinosaurs, but it does say, "And God said, 'Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky.' So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living and moving thing with which the water teems, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. God blessed them and said, 'Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.' And there was evening, and there was morning—the fifth day.
And God said,'Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: livestock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to its kind.' And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good."
When it refers to all the creatures it doesn't go into the specific species. However, I feel that dinosaurs are included in there as creatures of the sea, land, and air. The Bible also refers to a creature called Leviathan and some scholars believe that this is a Biblical mention of a dinosaur. I have included links to the Genesis Passage and to a Passage in the book of Job that describes Leviathan. I hope this helps

Some creationists, such as kent hovind, actually do think that dinosaurs were mentioned in the bible, but that they were called by different names, such as 'levithan' and 'dragons'
they use one of two arguments to explain the existence of fossils the first being that of a 'maturely created earth' or putting it more simply, that god created the world to appear old, and that is why there are fossils in it. The second argument used is that the dinosaurs did live with mankind and that they were wiped out during the great flood of noah.
The first argument lacks any scientific credence and amounts to nothing more than dismissve hand-waving and saying 'uhhh....god did it'. the second argument while slightly more scientific is completely implausible. Radio carbon dating totally disproves this idea, as does the exact layering of the fossil beds. If all of the dinosaurs were wiped out at the same time, we could expect to find fossils from the mesolithic era mixed with fossils from the paleolithic era and sop on, this does not happen. Fossils are layered exactly according to age, there is no mixing. This is indisputable proof of an old-earth.
hope this helps.

Yes, isn't it curious that the only animals mentioned are the ones found around the middle east? There is no mention of any purely North American species, or Australian species. As for fossils, the creationists think that carbon dating is a myth, as is the interpretation of geologic formations. Yep, all these highly educated scientists who date a fossil as being 60 million years old, are.......you guessed it....... wrong by 60 million years! And those teeth possessed by T-Rex.............yes, they were used to munch on plants! (I wonder if those pre-historic sharks were herbivores too? All of the fossilized sharks teeth I have seen sure look like they were designed to chew on kelp and other seaweed.) That T-Rex was a plant-eater is"demonstrated" in the new "Creation Museum." It must have been an afterthought that "god" decided to give herbivores the kind of teeth that they have now. Creationism Fever........Catch It !!!

I'm absolutely no longer a creationist and I'm no longer looking to offend any frame's faith. Primates and early folks had the identical ancestor, after which evolution branched off. Primates went their means, we went ours. If you hint again our origins you might uncover our ancestors (the primary "primates" that might stand upright) first advanced in Africa. Australopithecus, the primary that we all know of that might stand upright, used to be very bushy in comparison to contemporary day folks. About dinosaurs residing with folks, I in my opinion believe it used to be best creativity, and in fashionable tradition it's featured very prominently amongst one of the older films. However, it is rather not likely, as the entire truly dinosaurs (no longer adding the Aves loved ones, which integrated birds) went extinct throughout the K/T occasion, round sixty five million years in the past. To me, all this approximately dinosaurs residing with folks is all false. I am no longer Christian, however I am conscious of the Bible and what it states approximately the dinosaurs and Noah's Ark. Not to offend someone, however I believe it is rather unfaithful. I might be joyful to reply how scientists placed an age on fossils, however I quite don't have any proposal. I might even be joyful if any individual might inform me. You are proper that there are a few exciting strategies from creationists (I myself discovered plenty of strategies I by no means inspiration approximately), and I desire you're convinced with my view at the matters you acknowledged.

The Bible doesn't mention dinosaurs, and if it did, how would Noah have managed to cram 2 brontosaurus and 2 t-rex in his ark?
The Bible also neglects to mention microorganisms that have hibernated in lakes under the Antarctic ice for thousands of years. The Bible also states absurdities such as "rabbits chew their cud" and "insects have four legs", I believe in Leviticus.
And we could go on.....better to avoid a debate with them anyway.

They'll interpret anything to make it seem as if the bible is right, or they'll ignore reality (ie, there are no dinosaurs).
As another respondent pointed out, you're asking creationists. They have no obligation to think, or to think logically. They only have an obligation to believe, to have faith.

JOB 40:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth grass as an ox.(Wasn't that the biggest dinosaur of them all? Some people call them long necks.)
JOB 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?(Ocean dwelling king of the sea.)
There's two examples. If they were here before man. Then why does the bible show two clear examples of them for all to read?Challenge yourself.Read on into the bible, and you will find yourself in it.

Perhaps for the same reason there's no mention of parrots, poodles or mosquitos. It wasn't important. What is important is following Jesus Christ and getting into heaven. That's the whole purpose in the Bible.
