symptons especially the meowing, bottom in air, and roaming around sound like in heat to me. Also my cat is extremely affectionate then too.

I agree with all of the previous responses. Your cat is in heat. Get her spayed right away. In the meantime, don't let her go outside for a single second or she might get pregnant. Don't let this happen if you can prevent it. It's irresponsible to assume that your cat's kittens will find good homes. Remember your cat would not be the only one having kittens. There are thousands being born everyday and there aren't enough homes for all of them. Kittens are rarely euthanized but they will prevent older cats from getting adopted because people are more likely to adopt the kittens instead of the grown cats. As a result, many friendly and healthy adult cats are euthanized every day. By preventing new litters you’ll be helping an adult cat somewhere find a loving home of its own.

Yeah, you've just described all the symptoms of a female cat in heat.
I'm confused though - you said she wasn't pregnant, but then said there were kittens? Either way, you're supposed to get female cats spayed. You can do this once the kittens are weaned - keep her inside/away from male cats until then, she is capable of getting pregnant again as soon as she's given birth.
I'm sure the kittens will go to good homes, but those homes could've been for cats in shelters who are already in desperate need of a home.

Sounds like your cat is in heat. My guess is she's probably about 6 months old maybe a little older. Make an appointment with your vet to have her spayed and don't let her out of the house if you don't want kittens.

All I can say is there is enough cats in the world already, sounds to me that your cat is on heat wont be long until she is pregnant. Don't get me wrong I love cats but why would you want to put your cat through the pain of giving birth just so you can have cute little kittens that you will proberly not find loving homes for. Be a good pet owner and have your animals fixed, this keeps them safer as they tend to wonderless and stops them fighting as much with other cats.

It sounds like your cat is in heat. If she isnt spayed, she can go into heat as often as every two weeks and for 3-4 weeks at a time for the rest of her life until she is spayed.
