Well perhaps it does and then again, perhaps it doesn't matter that you're homeschooled, really not the issue dear. You shouldn't feel embarassed whatsoever...big deal. Heck, you could be 18 before you have your first real kiss, may I ask what you think is wrong about that? Don't succumb to peer pressure or what you believe the media suggests you should be doing...be your own person, seriously, don't cave in to the whims/dictates of another.
When you meet someone you care about and you kiss, you'll understand better the importance of going through this at your own pace and not that of another's. It's about relationships and eventually being in one, so don't sweat the truly "small stuff" guy, okay? Relax, this is truly nothing to be embarassed about, and I hope someday soon you'll know just what I mean.
Take care...
Grace

I'm 18 years old and I'm getting married in a year...the man I am marrying is also 18 years old. When we first began dating, he wasn't even 17, and he had never held hands with a girl, let alone kiss one. Trust me, don't go out and just find a girl to kiss just so you can say you have. I was definately the more experienced one out of the two of us, and when I found out how innocent he really was, it was so sweet, and when he finally did kiss me, it was even sweeter, because even though he had girls all over him all the time, he chose to wait until he found the one he felt was worth it. Don't feel embarassed. I think its sweet.

Thank your fundie parents for not letting you have a social life.
It's probably not abnormal for a homeschooled kid of 16 to not have kissed a girl yet. Make sure you goto college away from home and you'll get all the kissing you could ever want. (Watch out for STDs!)

It's not something to be embarassed about. Honestly, though, you should worry about finding a girl before you worry about kissing her.

Don't be embarrassed, but don't dwell on it to the point it shoots down your confidence. If you lose your confidence you'll never score. It will happen.
