The cruiselines are each different. Princess only requires you to be 18 to book a room. NCL requires the person who booked to be--but say it was 2 couples and only 1 guy was over 21--that would be fine if he booked the 2 rooms. Carnival on the other hand requires over 21 in each cabin.

However Princess is the only cruiseline that has an 18 age limit b/c in general it is too pricey for 18-25 yos to afford. Also the rules are different if you are married. Married passengers do not have the same age restrictions.

Look it up on the webpage of the individual cruiseline that you are planning on taking.

If my memory serves me, it's 3 or 6 months old. You need to check with each cruise lines for their specific minimum.

It is best to be at least 21 or if you are 18 you need a paretn permission slip and must go with someone the same sex and the is at least 25 years of age

Any age except for booking. You have to be anywhere from 21-25 to book a room in your name. Depends on the cruiseline.

normally 21 is minimum age...if there's any under 21 traveling, then someone in the cabin MUST be over 25.

For Carnival, it is 4 months. Not sure about other cruise lines.

to go by yourself you have to be 21 but if you are traveling with someone under 21 then you have to be 25.

Any age if ur with a parent. 18 and older can go by themselves.

I'm not really sure, but I can tell you that I've seen babies that look like they were born a month before they got on the ship.
