If you're literally "bored to tears", with tears and all--you should probably be checked for clinical depression. I hear prozac works wonders, as well as wellbutrin.

Just the opposite, generally speaking. I've found that most people have something interesting to offer. Sometimes, admittedly, you have to dig for it a bit, but nearly everyone has an interesting story to tell. That's why oral history can be such a compelling field. There are few people so utterly dull and devoid of a personality that nothing whatsoever of interest can be found.

No,if I cry is because they do not get it. Jesus often had sorrow and cried for the lost.....if one is bored,it is because of the one that is bored,not others. Their tears are caused by emotions or selfish cares.

Not most~ but I have to say a couple in my life. I work with this girl all she talks about is her~ boyfriend,her car, her dogs,allll daaay loooong.Never talks about anything eles. I tell her pick up a book or red a news paper. BORING IN MAINE.

I LOVE conversation and I love this question and answer stuff on Yahoo. I truly love to write out what I think. It makes me think about "what do I truly believe?" Ya know, and when I see it in print, I go, "Yea, that is right where I live."
I am amazed at how rediculous some people think and how deep some are.., I would love to have about 5 of you in a room somewhere and just toss around ideas if everyone would truly listen to each other.

I tend to surround myself with mostly intelligent people who I can converse with on a high level. Other times...yeah, people can bore me to tears.
