Having kids made me a better person, because I wanted to be a good example to them. I'm more hardworking, more truthful, and kinder to others, because I want my daughters to have these traits as well, and example is the best teacher.

I am more patient than I used to be. The day my daughter was born was the best and also the scariest day of my life. For me my "mothering" genes kicked in almost instantly. I've never felt such an intense love and sense of protectiveness for anyone else in my life.
I also think that having a child in my mid-30's was better for me and my child because of having a stable income and a good home for her. I was also able to slow down and enjoy her every little accomplishment, no matter how small.
This year she will be starting kindergarten and I can't believe how fast the time has flown. Children are the best!

Having a child has change me in many ways, some good, and some - well - I could have done without. I'm a far more knowlegable person now; I'm more patient, and I'm more understanding about my own parents. It's given me some worries and a few grey hairs, too, but it's all part of the process. I wouldn't go back to being without a child for anything you can name!

Since I've become a parent I've had little time for myself, my kids get new clothes instead of me, and I rarely sleep in anymore! It also has made me realize what true happiness is, and I wouldn't change it for the world!

Having children changed me a lot. It made me more conscious of what I watch on tv, made me more sensitive and understanding to what other parents go through, made me more organized (coz there's so much more to juggle), and of course I don't have much of a life any more.

Having children ( had my first at 18) has made me realize that they are my reasong for being here. I used to be jealous of my friends who could go out and party and have fun. Now I look at them and their miserable. I meanwhile, go home to 3 smiling faces that are always happy to see me, even when they knwo their in trouble.

Most definitely, I am now able to not let the little things stress me out, I have better things to focus on now, they have given me an inner peace. I also do not swear anymore and am not hooked on any TV programs LOL
