Yes, highlights can be colored over. What other color do you need to strip out? A darker base? In order in insure healthy, not over processed hair and a beautiful outcome you need to head to a salon. Stripping hair can be very harsh if not done properly. Highlights must be prepped for a color service and the timing of the entire process is tricky. Best of luck.

Yes you can color over hightlights, but unless you lighten the rest of your hair you will have a variance of color. I suggest a bleach (like highlights are made with) and shampoo solution aout 3/4 bleach, 1/4 shampoo. Work into hair all over. Put a plastic bag over hair and just let it lighten. Will start turning orange, just leave it on through the orange stage until it is blonde. Heat will help process faster. The faster you can do this, the less damage to your hair.
Shampoo it out and deep condfition, dry the hair and color with a semipermanent hair color. I suggest a good haircut after this proces.

Yes..you can...but one word of advice...see a Professional Hairstylist (ok..I know that was more than one word!!!LOL!)...
You never know what color you will end up with doing something like that at home...and I don't care how many times you may have colored your own hair or had Aunt Sue or cousin Ralph do it for you...
If you don't want to end up either bald or some color that is not in the natural hair color chart...see a stylist...it's the best advice I can give you...

we if you have highlights that means you have lighter pieces thru your hair so you do not need to strip anything out! You can cover your highlights Just do not use anything ash on your hair as you might end up with green, gray highlights! Use a demi color if possible, No ammonia!
