Go ahead and talk to her about it. It is a good conversation starter, and it is nice when someone shows interest in your hobbies, etc. You should be able to tell by her reaction if she wants you to go or not. I wouldn't come right out and ask if you can go to her recital though --- just ask her something like what kind of dance classes she takes, or how long has she been studying dance. See where that takes you. Good luck!

You should have asked her if you were invited or ask her where you can get an invitation. If she did not want you there she would have said it was private. If she likes you she would be flattered that you would want to come. Unless, of course, she gets nervous performing in front of too many of her peers. I would definitely not show up unannounced. That could be considered creepy or pushy, anyway.

it depends. if you talk to her a lot, or at least some, then you can go if you want. You could always call her and say.. well since we cant go to the movies this ________ I was wondering if you would mind if I came to your recital. It sounds like fun / sounds interesting. I'd like to see you.
Then you could set up another time to go to the movies / get together
:)
good luck!!!

I would not go to the recital, but I would show up after the recital, and take her out for coffee or something.
Dance recitals are very important, and dancers get nervous and they have to concentrate very hard on the dance that they are doing, if you show up, she might see you and get nervous, and you do not want her to mess up!
Show up after, and then take her out!!!

I think it would be borderline creepy if you aren't already good friends with her to begin with. Maybe schedule the plan for the movies on a different day?

Send her flowers saying "good luck at your recital" that's cute, without being too overbearing!

depends on the girl, some might say its romantic, others might not. I did something similar except I got the place from one of her friends and i brought some roses with me. It really depends on the age of you and her. Older women like the romantic spectrum of men, which are far and few. Younger tend not to for some reason. I guess they like being treated badly by playa's.

definitly not creepy... that would show her how cool you are, and if your lucky, she might even start to like you. Trust me, im a girl, and if a guy did that to me, that would bring a smile to my face and make me feel great. Definitly go for it! She's gonna like it... TRUST ME.
