I always change beers to keep it interesting. Current faves are Coopers Pale Ale, Carlton Draught and Melbourne Bitter

No, seriously - Michelob's Amber Bock, or XX Dark, for mass-market beer.

For an indie beer or something from a brew pub, I've never gone wrong with a Heffeweisen.

Pretty much any white beer.

They all seem to have the good beer flavor without the overly hoppy aftertaste.
