Many people who believe in God believe that He is a sadistic egomaniac who tortures honest truth-seekers who make honest mistakes. In response to another question somebody said, " Evolution is false. God will punish those who denie his hand in what has been created." If that's God, then He's an evil god. So, from a believer's point of view, who's worse, those of us who don't belleve in God, or those who make God the personification of their own hatred?

I think not believing in no god is better. Believing in an evil god is a way to justify personal preferences and ill wills. "Even a devil can quote scripture to suit his purpose" - MOV, Shakespeare. In essence an "evil person" will justify his doings by following an "evil god".

Since there is only ONE GOD and he is not evil, I don't see the point of your question. Unless it is to argue some more.
