i need to find a website where i can download a manual for a program. got any hints?

It depends on the program. Most software companies will have a link to their manuals someplace on their website. I like to use Yahoo or Google to find the company website and then see if they have a link for "documentation" or a "search" option.

Often the manufacture of the software makes the manuals available on their website.
