It's posted on NASCAR.com. I don't think Busch actually touched Tony's car in the pits but he was awfully close! And you could see the pit crew member jump out of the way. That was a tad on the scary side.

Thanks samwu09 for the picture link. That was an amazing picture with all the NASCAR officials standing there looking right at that scene.

It's typical Kurt stunts, first I'm not sure Tony did any thing wrong (not a smoke fan) second what is he thinking on pit road?.Nascar will come down hard and I mean hard on Kurt as they should. There is no room in racing for needlessly endangering pit road workers.Watch for points, money, probation and maybe a week sit-down penalties from Nascar.

Saw it happen. Not too smart on Kurt's part. Take it out on the track, not the pit. What would have happened if Tony's crewman had been hit? He could have been killed or been incapacitated where he might have been in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. How would Kurt had felt about that (it would be with him for the rest of his life).

Not hating on Busch, but NASCAR should look into some serious punishment for this incedent. Because it happened on the pit road where unprotected people could have been injured or killed, the punishment should be severe. In any case, not just because it's a Busch, the minimum penalty should be a PARKED CAR FOR TWO RACES. Not a parked driver but a parked car. That would cover the fines in my opinion. No income for the driver because he's not driving, but then the owner has no car in the race. This results in no money for the team, and no coverage for the sponsor. Nothing steams a sponsor more than not being in the race. Not being in the race will also keep them from gaining any points.

As severe as this idea seems, it serves to make a point. On the track you put your own life at risk, but you are in a protected position. In the pits, there are unprotected people at risk. If a driver is going to be selfish enough to drive into someone on the pits, they might reconsider if they know the consequences will be so much higher for them if they do it.

What Busch did was totally uncalled for. He should be penalized not only by a fine but also a loss of points. It appeared Kurt hit Tony's car in pit row not to mention almost creaming the pit crew guy .What would of happened if the pit crew guy hadn't been paying attention? Great thing he was though. Busch was very unprofessional. If he had something to say to Tony..he should of waited until the race was over!

I've seen it and if he touched or not he endangered the pit crew member. If you did this on a public street then you would be picked up for vehicular assalt.
On track Looked as though Busch came up on Tony or a spotter did not give some accurate info.

Yes, reminds of when Tony spun out the 24 on pit road AFTER the race at Bristol, not only pit crew around, but press, family, etc. NASCAR only put Tony on double secret probation. I do not really care for either of them, but I really grow weary of Tony's attitude that everyone should let him pass. Who wants to watch a race like that?

I guess Kurt thought by killing one of smoke's crew members, he could get him back for something that wasn't even Tony's fault. I don't know why people keep blaming Stewart for the wreck...who's to say Kurt shouldn't have given Stewart a little room? Everyone knows you need the whole track to pass on the bottom, Kurt didn't have it, so he tried to take it from a guy who doesn't like to give. It was bound to happen, but what Kurt did on pit road was inexcusable.

Using your car as a weapon to hit another car in the pits with all those pit crews running around should be an immediate and VERY long suspension... Like 1 Year... and Millions is fines.....

II agree that it was a tad scary. Thankfully the crew member jumped out of the way. It was totally uncalled for. No wonder, Nascar 'parked' him.

It was scary, here's a photo, it appears that the cars touched in the pits, great job by the pit crew member.

I think Kurt just replaced Jeff Gordon as my least favorite driver, he is an idiot. And that was uncalled for, he's the one that cut Tony off and sent them both into the wall.
