Yes, peanuts have a lot of fat, no carbs though. 1/2 fat, 1/2 protein. It's good to have some peanuts seeing as how they have a lot of protein but eating too many will definitly get you fat. My 9th grade science teacher did an experiment to show how much energy (fat) peanuts have. He burned a marshmellow next to a peanut. The marshmellow burned up in about 10 seconds but the peanut burned for over 2 minutes. It shows how there is more energy in a peanut.

You'll gain a lot of weight if you eat a lot of ANYthing...

That having been said....peanuts DO have a very high fat content; so I'd advise either eating less of them, or switching to another snack food.

People that snack on peanuts are a lot of times thinner. Peanuts can be combined with a low carb diet because there they have no grams of sugar.

Well if you just eat and eat all day, of course you are going to get fat. Plus peanuts have alot of fat in them to begin with.

nuts are fattening foods and do have calories.. the salt may bot be there but the fat is. and besides salt only gives water weight not actual weight.
