spacious is better. Vast sounds weird.

I think of 'vast' as more of an exterior word. Spacial would be interior.

I lived in Seoul for 10 years. They had apartments as much as 5000 square feet. That seemed vast to me, as far as apartments go.

perhaps they are describing the size of the imagination you'll need to make this place livable!
