If Biblical Creationism is correct, then why are there apes? The Bible says that G-d created Mankind in his own image, so why would He do the same favor for Chimpkind?

That's an easy one.. Creationism is NOT correct, so no one has to distort and misrepresent science, fabricate pseudo realities, embrace ignorance and denial, or lie to prove it was so..
There are Apes because they are a branch of the primate evolutionary processes, which itself is a branch of the mammalian evolutionary processes..

1. it's the closes things to humans that we can hurt to make a study point... better then doing it on real humans right ... lol
2. there are so many different types of chimps that we are part of them we eloved from a certian type of ape
3. apes was the first draft we are the 2nd draft wait to see the next draft ... there will never be a final!

"In His own image" has nothing to do with physical appearance, since God has no physical appearance. "In His own image" means with a spiritual nature, immortal soul, and moral capacity.
