Running! or any type of cardio will decrease belly fat. That is the best way. Add sit ups, crunches and abdominal excersises plus cardio and your love handles will dissapear!

Check out Leslie Sansone's You Can Do: Abs dvd. It requires a stability ball and some weights, but if you pick it all up at Wal-Mart or something it won't cost you much. I used it 3 times a week and saw results in 2 weeks.

there are all types of gimics out there, everyone will tell you that their way is right.
The first thing you have to do is cut calories and bad carbs.
Then you will have to burn off more calories than you eat.
Unless your a weightlifter.
Then you will need the calories because you will burn them off.
the only way to get rid of excess fat, or the "spare tire" is to lose weight and exercise.
Crunches for the front and weights for the back. Your core must bestrong for it to look that way

cardio is the only fat burning exercise and will burn body fat all over your body - we cant spot reduce it - do it 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat) and combine it with light weight training since cardio burns both - fat and muscle (more muscle=faster metabolism)
sit ups only build muscle, they dont burn fat and will make your belly look bigger because there is gona be more muscle underneath the layer of fat.

well i have a really ripped 6 pack of abs and all i do is 100 crunches before bed each night...just lay on your back, put you hands behind your head, legs bent and crossed in the air and touch elbows to knees....do 50 straight and you'll feel a difference.
