Gotta say american isn't a real cheese as it processed with water and oil in a plant and Ãsn't made from reduced cow's milk or sheep milk.
My favorite is all old strong cheeses. Provolone, cheddar, blue cheese, old dutch cheeses(there is one that is so old that you can see the salt deposits in it, and its sweet, you eat it with a tall glass of dutch bok beer). I do like swiss cheese, but anything with lots of flavor is lovely.

I like american but only Black Bear Yellow American Cheese. I know everyone says there no difference just food coloring but I think yellow american tastes better then white american

I only eat land o lakes fresh sliced deli cheese. I also love Hot Pepper Cheese!
