Very good question! Difficult to answer. I, of myself , with this mind, will never be perfect. Yet there bible says, "Be ye perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect". Now, how do you do that? The bible also states "We can have the mind that was in Christ Jesus". Many people believe that when they accept Jesus as their Savior & God in their life, that's it, it's done. In fact, being born again of the Spirit is a process, not an event. A decision was made, you have become willing & captive to Christ, now the process of God drawing you closer to him happens. Now we learn to hear the voice of the comforter, the Spirit. Then we learn to follow only that voice. When this happens, we will full have "The mind that was in Christ Jesus".We alone can not be perfect, yet we were told to do so by Jesus, therefore it must be possible.

I believe you already are...........
To answer the question......we must first define perfection.
The most common definition of perfection comes from Western Christianitys influence on us, implying that we are sinful and unworthy.
I disagree. I am the Daughter of the Creator, and I am a reflection of the creative ability and beauty of design. I arrived here perfect, as the Creator designed.
You see, perfection, can include things that we would consider both positive and negative. These things combine together, to create opportunities for greater growth and understanding and they are implemented into the design on purpose.

Perfection is a state where there is no scope to improve and hence it also marks the end. If I were to become perfect in everysense I'd stop living and start to die.
So I cannot be perfect for then I stop being me. Rather I'd like to strive to attain perfection. And yes I believe in being the best I can be.

To me, the idea of "perfect" humans is ridiculous. All human beings were born sinners. If mankind were capable of perfection, Christ's redemption would have been unnecessary. Why would God send His beloved son to die for people who were already perfect, or who could ever possibly achieve perfection without divine intervention? However, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try to better ourselves, or that we should wallow in our imperfections. But there are no perfect humans. Have you ever met one? I certainly haven't. The only truly perfect being is the Godhead.

Perfection can only be achieved within a limited set of specific parameters. For example, a square can easily be perfect because we can measure its hight and length. Its much harder for a human to be perfect because there are many different sets of parameters that one can be applied.

I can be perfect, but I'm not there yet.
Jesus is working on me, though.
By the time He puts an end to this world and builds His New Kingdom, I'll be perfect.
I am very excited about this prospect!

Yes. We were all created perfect just the way we are. Would God create anything less than perfection? If God could be offended He might be a bit upset at some of our opinions of His Creations.

Could you define perfect. Some would say with no mistakes another would say without sin and another without intentional sin. And yet another would define perfect as finished ( as in the finished product.) So definition defines answer.

First, perfection means that you elevate your soul to a higher level where soul, body and brain live in harmony, and "yourself" will live in harmony with what is around you, and with the world in general. You can see that it is not an easy matter to be perfect, but one tends to be perfect once he/she can achieve the harmony.
It is not impossible, but very difficult to attain.

NO! I am like filthy rags!! Jesus is perfect, and without sin. EVERYONE else is born into sin. We are to strive for righteousness, but we will never be good enough, that's why Jesus had to come down and take on the sin for himself. It took someone who was sinless, so that we could be reconciled with God.
