Is the earworms technique an effective way of learning a new language (specifically spanish or italian)? Has anyone used it (or knows someone who has) and found it effective? Is there a more effective method??? Please help!!

WOW, thanks for that question! I just jumped out and researched that. I've never used it myself, but I remember the old days of "subliminal teaching" when you listened to tapes while you slept. They DID find that to be effective for some people. This might be the newest, latest way of using that type of technology.

The only thing I can think of that might work better is "immersion therapy", where you can ONLY SPEAK or listen to the language you are trying to learn -- nothing else. That seems to work fairly well, if you survive!

If you try this, I'd LOVE to know how it works for you.
