It has nothing to do with the types of answers you give or even the questions that you ask. You are limited to the number of questions and anwers depending on what level you are on.

Level 1 users (yourself) can answer 20 questions, vote for 20 answers, leave 10 comments, and ask 5 questions. When you move to level 2, you are able to ask 10 questions, answer 40 questions, leave 20 comments, and even vote on 40 answers. It isn't a personal insult agaisnt you. You shouldn't take it as such. People that earn the right to answer unlimited questions have worked hard to earn that. You can do the same. You just have to stick with it and work hard just like the rest of us did when we first started. Before you know it, you too will be a level 5 and answering as many questions as you wish. Good luck.

Yahoo has set limits based on how many points you have. As your points increase, you will be allowed to answer more questions. Keep using your maximum and it won't take you long to reach a higher level. It can be frustrating though...as most of us once we start get addicted to this place. God Bless.

It's a good set of rules really. Keep at it. You need to be sure your answers have some depth, too. Try to help, like most do. Ignore the obvious idiots and look for people who are sincere about getting and giving advice.

Just depends what level you are on. Asking questions gets you points too. Once you have selected a best answer.

It isn't just you, it's everybody that's just starting out that's limited. I think it's a way for Y!A to reward people that stick around awhile. Also, those who get "Best Answer" a lot will rise quicker.

Nothing is free. You have to earn the right to answer more questions.

These are the rules set forth by Yahoo! Answers. If you don't like them you are free to play somewhere else.

BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ANSWER QUESTIONS JUST FOR THE POINTS TO GET HIGHER AND HIGHER ON THE SCALE. IF THERES NO LIMIT I THINK WE MANY PEOPLE WOULD BE OFF THE SCALE.

because Yahoo! answers want you to keep coming back, so that one day you get addicted to the point where you dont even remeber how to sign off.

With Yahoo answers, it's quantity, not quality, that counts.
